Light dapple grey with gold breast collar, bridle and chain reins. This set included Robin Hood with sword and bow, and a brown soft plastic Medieval saddle with high pommel and cantle, molded on saddle blanket, and pull-through cinch. This is an updated version of the Robin Hood #P145 Horse & Rider Set from 1956-59. On the 1999 Retired List.
This was a reissued set; however, the Robin Hood mold from the 1950's was no longer useable, so Breyer had to make a new mold from an old set. The new saddles can be both a soft pliable plastic or a stiff plastic. Unknown if the pliable saddles are a breakdown of plastic. The saddles can stain the models if left on for too long. Both Robin Hood and saddle have a Breyer Reeves copyright stamp.
