The pink shading can vary between sets. Some pigs will have brown hooves and snouts, brown hooves and pink snouts or are just a solid pink, and some have colored wrinkles. Ongoing research to determine if there are concrete differences between sets.
From 2005-2009, this model was released in the Farm Animals Play Set #5909. Set included a cow, hen and chicks, pig, mule, rabbit, rooster, doll, water trough, corral, fence and hay bale. Listed on a 2008 Retired List, but then listed in the 2009 Catalog and again on the 2009 Retired List.
The Country Vet Play Set #720230 was released through Target in 2009. It included an Andalusian, Vet Doll, Pig, Rabbit, Donkey, treadmill, first aid kit and horse blanket. This pig has the brownish hooves and snout.
State Fair Animal Play Set #5919 was released 2009-2010. Set included a Bull, Sheep, Rabbit, Pig, Doll and Fence. On the 2010 Retired List.
The Roll and Go Farm Animal Play Set #5931 was released 2011-2012. Included a pig, goat, sheep, and fence. On the 2012 Retired List.
The Country Wagon Set #5933 was released 2012-2014. Included wagon, harness, fence, rabbit, pig, hen, goat, and blue ribbon. This set was on the 2013 and 2014 Retired Lists, but still shown in the 2014/2015 catalog.
Farmyard Friends #5365 released 2013-2014. Set included a cow, goat, sheep, pig, chicken with chicks, hay manger and fencing. On the 2014 Retired List.
In 2015-2017, this model was released in the Visiting Vet Set #5949. Set included a cow, pig, rabbit, chicken with chicks, vet doll, water trough, hay bale and fencing. On the 2017 Retired List.
In 2021-2024, Tractor and Tag-A-Long Wagon #59238 was released with the cow, pig, tractor and hay bale. In 2025, the cow and pig changed to different plastic figures.
