Chestnut with various or no socks. An uncommon variation is black mane and tail. Originally sculpted by Maureen Love for Hagen-Renaker as a portrait of the famous race horse. Models are stamped with Copyright Breyer Molding Co 1975. Some models have a B Stamp, which signifies a different plastic blend was used for the mold.
Released as a single #5022 from 1975-1994, and available in the Stablemate Assortment Set #5600 from 1990-1994. Released late in 1975, so not shown in the catalogs. These models were made from the heavier Cellulose Acetate plastic, except from 1992-1994 when they were made with the ABS plastic.
